TERRORISM in America, in Europe and The WORLD

Dateline Thursday March 23rd 2016   By J.A. TRILIEGI for BUREAU News

Terrorist attacks are happening at an alarming rate and we, here in America, having experienced The 911 attacks in New York City, know exactly what its like. Unfortunately, we did not have a leader, at that time, that had many of the skills, which could unify this country. In fact, we were sent into a fear based state of shock and it took a decade to recover.  Since that time, we have watched, in total horror as LONDON, PARIS and most recently BELGIUM has experienced a Similar Tragedy and our Hearts are with you. We know what you are feeling and we ask you to be strong, stay unified and stay clear minded. More people have died, attempting to travel to Europe from SYRIA, in the past year, [ 5000+ ] than died on September 11th, here in America. Terrorism is a disgusting act, like a sucker-punch, a cowardice act, that no worthy opponent would put forth. These are people not strong enough to fight, out in the open, to declare a challenge, a duel, a war, on terms that can be respected by anyone.  And so, it is difficult to direct ones anger. We in America, entered into a war shortly after the 911 attack, and on reflection, most in power, now agree, that the war, had no direct connection with our attackers. We suggest for the great European Countries, currently under pressure, to respond cautiously, carefully and calculated.

There will always be acts of violence, stupidity and strife in this world, but those acts do not have to define who we are, what we do and where we go. Nor should these violent acts lead policy, programs or pedagogy."

We in America, and especially those in the Arts and Sciences have a deep and enduring relationship with your European history, with your style, with your groundwork, in the artistic fields of Fine Art, Literature, Social as well the Sciences and Theology. Let us band together, in spirit, in strength and in support of You, Your Country and your special contribution to the Unity of Europe at this time. Let us be stronger TOGETHER. Travel to and from each others homes, cities, states and countries is integral, to a world economy, and a future of solidarity, among the great peoples of this world.  Let us put aside whatever differences we may have and or had, at this time, to join together as ONE. There will always be acts of violence, stupidity and strife in this world, but those acts do not have to define who we are, what we do and where we go. Nor should these violent acts lead policy, programs or pedagogy. Everyone and everything has its effects in this world. We can be more cautious without losing casualness. We can be more learned while still loose-limbed. We can be more aware while avoiding avarice. We can still be One World while accepting that those who wish to divide us up, are not as powerful, as they would hope to be, nor will they drive us to any level of reaction, that would make us think, act or be, all that different, towards one another. We the people, of this great planet, have much to gain, privately and publicly, by standing together, in times of war, and in time of woe. And Today, let this be one of those times.
