THE ROLLING STONES, BARACK OBAMA and The NEW CUBAN REVOLUTION

The door to CUBA has opened up and the leading band in Rock and Roll will be the First to play: THE ROLLING STONES. President Obama and his family have already arrived and The Stones are slated to play this Friday. The people of CUBA have gone without assistance from America for far too long, due to policy, politics and pettiness. Why punish the people, when often their leaders are lacking in the trust a free society depends on ? The everyday people of CUBA deserve to have the resources and respect, the support and supplies, the opportunities and offerings we now take for granted, here in America. Due to many of these policies, the Cuban people have suffered, on the other hand, their Island, is a geological wonder, with many of the natural, plant and animal life intact beyond compare. Most Cubans are not running around on their cellphones, playing games, like many of Americans today. They are not waisting precious foods, resources, time and money, as many Americans are.

The Cuban people have survived without much support from America and they have come out the other end, independent, while somewhat hungry, strong while still sensitive, soulful while still struggling and through it all, they are still beautiful, respected and islanders, with that special magic, that only islanders contain : Sicily, Bali, Hawaii, Jamaica, to name a few. Having gone to school, grown up with, and worked closely with Cuban Americans, I have learned much and still have so much more to learn about Cuba, it's history and it's people. We hope that those on both sides of the political divide, will realize that, it is the people who suffer, when their leaders, who set policy, are confused with the actual populist of any place, be it, Israel, Cuba or even America. Viva CUBA and VIVA Cubanos! The way to Liberty is through an open door. The door is now open, lets begin a dialogue, that can transform it's leaders, liberate its people and create new policy for the next generation of Cuban people: A Salute'.
